giving your kid a yes day (afternoon!)

Recently, my 8.5-year-old told me she was a little sad that her brother was getting so much attention for his upcoming bar mitzvah. We pulled her out of school for the afternoon for park time, Shake Shake, the book store, and ending at Starbies, ofc! Got the job done.
